Apigee was one of the most exciting things we saw at the Google Cloud Summit 2018 in Sydney and effectively it allows you to make an API out of anything.
If you’ve got slabs of location data that you want to open up to people, but you want to maintain control and be able to update the source, you might want to check out Apigee.
There are quota controls, passwords, authentication and all the other things you would expect when making an API.
