About Us:
NGIS is a leading and dedicated Geospatial consulting company. Thought leadership and problem-solving with geospatial technology are at the heart of what we do: we advise clients on spatial technology, consult in GIS services, build fit-for-purpose solutions, train our clients technically and partner with the industry's best technology providers such as Google, Planet, HERE and more. As a full-service consultancy, we help our clients set a path, build capacity or create solutions that enable data-driven decision-making to address some of the world's most pressing issues.

At NGIS, everybody contributes and works together to make an impact through geospatial. The pace is fast, and the work is innovative, allowing everyone to develop new skills or explore new roles and responsibilities. Our team embodies a spirit of hard work, fun, community contribution, and excellence. With team members spread across Australia, we thrive on shared experiences and collective success. Our client portfolio is as diverse as our team, spanning various industries and geographic locations, including global engagements.

We really value team and culture fit and are looking for people who bring ideas to the table, aren't afraid to take initiative, can offer a helping hand to their colleagues when needed, provide thought leadership in their area of expertise and care deeply about our values and philosophies.

About The Role:
As our Manager of Training, you will be responsible for administering, managing and growing sales and revenue of our Training products for the Products Group.

You will specifically be responsible for the sales and promotion of our Training courses and related Training products, identifying opportunities for new Training offerings to meet customer needs, and working within the wider NGIS business to promote Training offerings as a value-add to the existing customer base. Moreover, you will play a key role in administering and organising Training courses and programs for customers, as well as quality control and value of NGIS Training offerings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving revenue growth for NGIS Training Products through strategic planning, direct sales efforts, outbound campaigns, stakeholder collaboration, and meticulous sales pipeline management.
  • Facilitating the delivery of Training courses by coordinating bookings with clients and partners, gathering trainee feedback, and ensuring optimal resource allocation for course delivery.
  • Overseeing the development, review, and upkeep of Training offerings, ensuring quality control, adherence to procedures, evaluation of customer experience, and staying abreast of training trends and best practices.

What Are We Looking For:
Our ideal candidate is driven to deliver measurable results, capable of developing a growth mindset within our Training offerings, and keen to promote the strategic benefits of attracting new customers through our innovative Training products and programs.

As a key member of our team, you will naturally embody confidence, positivity, and a spirit of teamwork, contributing to our collaborative work culture. Your attention to detail will be second to none, ensuring that all aspects of training delivery meet our high standards.

This role requires a strategic thinker with solid organisational and time-management skills and a knack for multitasking. You'll need excellent communication skills, a flair for sales, and the ability to coordinate and manage complex training events with ease.

Experience and expertise with CRM software, particularly HubSpot, are preferred to successfully manage customer relationships and track sales initiatives. While experience in the spatial or IT sectors is valuable, it's not essential if you have a can-do attitude and are eager to learn more. Your willingness to adapt and grow will be valued as much as your existing skills and knowledge.

What's In It for You?
This role offers a significant opportunity to shape the direction and impact of NGIS's Training initiatives, directly influencing the business's growth and customer engagement.

Our hybrid working system allows working from home 50% of the time, and our core office hours between 9 and 4 allow the remaining hours to be completed balanced with other life commitments. We are also open to discussing permanent part-time arrangements if that works better for you.

You'll work with a passionate, unified, and professional team. We are an impact-focused business in terms of both what we deliver for our clients and the projects we choose to support. We care about making a positive impact in the world and use software and data to tackle issues such as sustainable development, biodiversity and conservation, preservation of Indigenous rights and interests, climate change and disaster risk reduction.

Ready To Take the Next Step?
If you share our values and aspirations, are passionate about training and sales, and are looking for a role where you can make a tangible impact, we want to hear from you!

Please express your interest by April 30, 2024, and join us in this exciting journey to drive success and innovation in training at NGIS.
