Dr. Evangelos Mitsakis is a Research Director at the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT), specializing in Intelligent Transport Systems and the effects of climate change on transport networks. With a PhD in transport engineering, his research focuses on Cooperative ITS and Connected and Automated Mobility Systems. A former President of ITS Hellas, he is also an active member of various international expert groups and committees.

She previously served as Acting Administrator and Chief Counsel at the USDOT’s Federal Highway Administration, leading an agency of over 3,000 people and a $178 billion budget. She is a recognized leader in transportation and mobility, with a focus on ensuring infrastructure investments are safe, sustainable, and equitable, and she is a champion for gender equity in the industry.

Oliver Looker is a Director of Transport and Smart Cities at NGIS, and active member of ITS Australia. With over 25 years’ experience in mapping science, he believes that location intelligence is the key to unlocking the future of transportation and sustainability.
