Rebecca finds her fit at NGIS

Rebecca MooreProject Manager and Governance Lead, NGIS

Born and bred in the UK, Rebecca achieved a Degree in Geography and later completed her Masters in Geographic Information System (GIS).

After visiting Australia, she fell in love with the laid-back lifestyle and decided to re-locate with her partner to a property in WA’s wheatbelt, where she enjoys spending time with her dogs.
Before NGIS, she got a job as a GIS Consultant at Esri Australia in Perth, where she worked her way up to become a Project Manager.

Rebecca is now a Project Manager & Governance Lead at NGIS, which involves structuring the way we deliver our projects. She is the perfect fit for the role as she enjoys the challenges of problem solving and finding solutions to help NGIS to achieve their clients’ goals. Now, she is particularly focused on conducting a complete audit of all the company’s projects to ensure NGIS have a consistent method of project delver when working with clients.

“I enjoy this role as it is diverse and interesting and keeps me constantly learning and striving to reach my potential as a successful Project Manager,” Rebecca said.

One of the reasons Rebecca was drawn to work at NGIS was the work culture and the level of trust that staff and her peers invests in their employees. Working at NGIS, she has had the flexibility to work from her rural home and the city to get the best of both worlds.

“It makes me feel empowered to complete my role independently and efficiently knowing that you are trusted to complete your work wherever your location is.”
