Length: 4 half day sessions Cost: $1,645 + GST

Location: Online ( virtual machines will be used )

This course will provide attendees with fundamental skills in designing, creating, administering and optimising spatial PostgreSQL databases. The training will include specifics to make the training relevant to attendees.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the tools and techniques for high availability, disaster recovery, and replication.
  • Learn the foundations of PostgreSQL, to discover, use, make, and share data from a relational database system.
  • Gain essential skills required to successfully install, configure, manage and maintain a PostgreSQL Server.
  • Recognize common SQL commands and spatial support through PostGIS.

No previous experience with PostgreSQL is required. Experience with using Microsoft Windows is essential.
