Attendees will learn how to leverage shared libraries, functions and UI components to deliver complex processes that perform significant analysis on enormous imagery and feature collections.

  • Google Earth Engine Fundamentals or equivalent skills
  • Calibration of Spectral Data
  • Cloud Filtering – Simple, Intermediate & Advanced Techniques
  • Sub-Pixel Analysis – Spectral Unmixing
  • Neighbourhood Analysis - Morphological Operations
  • Quantification and Analysis of Image Texture
  • Image Segmentation
  • Time-Series Modelling
  • Cumulative Cost Analysis
  • Thermal Data Pre-processing and Analysis
  • Radar Data Pre-processing and Analysis
  • Topographic Data Analysis

Geospatial Object-Based Image Analysis.

  • Covers the segmentation of a landscape into image objects and their subsequent classification. Classification is based upon a range of derived predictors including spectral measurements and statistical aggregates, object geometry, and object relations.

SAR Data processing for the detection of deforestation.

  • Covers the pre-processing and preparation of a temporal dataset of SAR data. Change detection is used to identify areas of significant spatial structural change indicative of deforestation.
