Description

CARTO is an open, powerful, and intuitive platform, providing comprehensive mapping, visualisation and data analytics functionalities for users across industries such as Banking and Finance, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Government, Real Estate, Journalism, Earth Observation among many others. CARTO’s cutting-edge cartographic features have been implemented by many organisations around the world.
You will learn how organisations can use web mapping platforms to facilitate collaboration and efficient access to data and maps. And also learn how to discover and predict key insights underlying the location data on an extremely easy to use interface.

Prerequisites

No previous experience with GIS software is required, although experience with using Microsoft Windows is essential.

Jack is our Principal GIS Consultant. He has been working as part of the GIS industry for over ten years and has a range of experience across the ESRI suite of products. He has worked in a range of roles including Desktop GIS Analyst, Field GIS Officer and Applications Developer giving him knowledge of the product use at different levels. He’s applied this knowledge across a number of different industries including State and Local Government, Mining, Infrastructure, Agribusiness and Education. Jack is a popular and greatly admired presenter of the NGIS courses.
