Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA)

NGIS is a member of the Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA), a body representing the spatial business community in Australia. NGIS Managing Director Paul Farrell was the former national Chairman of the SIBA Board. Member firms are bound by a code of practice, guaranteeing a high and reliable standard of service.

The association and its members have a mission, individually and together, to provide services of the highest quality for the benefit of society.

Australian Information Industry Association

NGIS Australia is a member of the AIIA. Managing Director, Paul Farrell is an executive director on the West Australian branch committee. AIIA’s vision is of a future where a thriving, sustainable and influential information industry accelerates the digital economy to enhance Australia’s productivity and sustainability.

Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute & Young Spatial Professionals Australia (SSSI YP Australia)

In 2004, NGIS was integral in starting the SSSI Young Spatial Professionals Australia (SSSI YP Australia). Its main objectives are to raise awareness of spatial science among young professionals and provide young professionals with industry representation. NGIS is a Sustaining Member of SSSI and a proud supporter of SSSI YP Australia.

Committee for Economic Development of Australia

CEDA provides thought leadership and policy perspectives on the economic and social issues affecting Australia. We achieve this through a rigorous and evidence-based research agenda, and forums and events that deliver lively debate and critical perspectives.
